Life
Worth Living
Area medical facilities provide dependable, quality
care.
A variety of health
care facilities exist within our idyllic county to help citizens through
their emergencies and physical and mental difficulties. Hospitals operate
in Hillsboro and Greenfield, and citizens have access to specialized
treatment in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton when needed. Private facilities
such as The Laurels of Hillsboro, Crestwood Nursing Center and Heartland
of Hillsboro provide short-term rehabilitation or long-term care, and
PESSO (Professional Emergency Specialist of Southern Ohio Inc.) provides
urgent care seven days a week.
The hard-working
personnel in every program are highly trained and caring. Here in Highland
County, we remem-ber that patients aren't just numbers.
