Murray Civic Music Association
World-Class Programs and Events

The Murray Civic Music Association (MCMA) is a not-for-profit organization that promotes and presents outstanding music performances for Murray, Kentucky, and surrounding communities. Since 1958, MCMA has continued to meet its purpose through presenting world-class events at the historic Lovett Auditorium on the campus of Murray State University. This year, the program will sponsor four musical performances: The St. Louis Brass, the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, Jim Walker and Free Flight, and pianist Andreas Klein.

The Board of Directors for the Murray Civic Music Association is made up of 14 community volunteers who have a passion for music and performance. Annual membership in MCMA includes season tickets to all MCMA events; as a bonus, members can enjoy free admission to events with similar organizations in Paducah, Kentucky; and Martin, Union City and Dyersburg, Tennessee. Membership rates are $40 for adults and $35 for seniors; other specials are available for families, as well. However, interested participants do not have to be members of the association to get tickets to an event; individual ticket prices are also available.

Greg Delancey is the current President of the MCMA and is excited about the organization and all of the wonderful programs and performances that are expected in the years to come. "I encourage people to get involved and come see some of the performances," Delancey said at a recent Rotary Club meeting. "The Murray Civic Music Association is grateful for all of the past participation and looks forward to the Murray community's future participation."
