Dubuque Community
The Dubuque Community School District consists of
three public high schools, three public junior high schools and 11 public
elementary schools. A new public middle school, located on the citys
far west side, will be completed for the 2005 school year. No matter
what your choice for living arrangements, there is a school nearby.
In the downtown/north end area, schools include Prescott Early
Childhood Center for 3 to 8-year-olds; Fulton Inter-mediate Center,
Prescotts companion school for students in third through sixth
grades; Audubon Elementary; Marshall Elementary; Sageville Elementary,
for students in the far north; Jefferson Junior High; and Central Alternative
High School.
Centrally located schools in the Dubuque community include Irving
Elementary, Jones and Washington Junior High Schools and Senior High
School.
In the western and southern portions of town are Bryant, Hoover,
Table Mound, Eisenhower and Kennedy Elementary schools and Hempstead
High School.
