“What do you do in there, anyway?”
Many of us at CommunityLink have been asked that question by friends and family. Years ago, the answer would have been, “We publish maps, profiles, and directories for chambers of commerce around the country.” Today, our answer to that question is a little more complex. Yes, we still produce high-quality print publications, but CommunityLink is not just a publishing company; we’re innovators in community-based communications.
Those of you familiar with CommunityLink already know that we’ve put tremendous effort into creating a suite of tools and communications products that covers chamber needs from every angle. We call it Chamber360, and it includes everything from print and electronic media, to community marketing, to cutting-edge chamber operating systems. Well, the creative juices are still flowing and we’re excited to say that our clients can expect even more innovative tools and products in the months ahead.
Among the new tools we’re developing to create greater value for our clients is the blog that you’re reading now – ChamberCentric – which will give us yet another way to communicate with you as we move forward together. Our posts will keep you up to date on CommunityLink’s growing arsenal of products and the ways that you can put them to work for your organization. We’ll discuss strategies and ideas that are important to chambers everywhere, including perspectives from other industry professionals who are out there in the trenches. Along the way, we’ll share some of the great stories and images we’ve gathered from around the country and introduce you to some of the talented folks here at CommunityLink who work hard to make all of this possible.
So welcome to ChamberCentric, our answer to the question, “What do you do in there, anyway?” Stop by on a regular basis to find out what we’re up to and how it can help your organization thrive. And don’t be shy about giving us a call or dropping a line so we can discuss it further – after all, communication is a two-way street.
